Life can be stressful enough as a professional caterer. From dealing with suppliers of food to demanding customers, there is always something to sort out. Luckily, kitchen equipment doesn’t have to be a problem with catering equipment hire from Expo Hire Bristol & Avon.

How can we help caterers with kitchen equipment hire?

We’ve tried to make hiring kitchen equipment hire easy, to take the pressure off. As a caterer, you’ll know the products you need – either browse the catalogue or use the search function to find what you need. We have both LPG and electrical equipment available, and everything is tested and ready to go.

For outdoor events, we recommend our LPG equipment as it offers power that is difficult to replicate through extension leads and generators. All of our LPG equipment is regularly serviced and tested by a Gas Safe engineer, and certification can be supplied on request once stock is allocated to an order. All of our LPG equipment is fitted with a hose and a regulator and attaches to a 19kg or 47kg LPG bottle via a standard bayonet fitting. If you need LPG, we also hire out 19kg bottles.

We have endeavoured to make our electrical items as easy as possible to use. All of our electrical items come with a standard 13 amp three pin UK plug, and can be used from a normal power supply. However, we do recommend checking the supply available if you are using extension leads and / or generators as higher-powered electrical equipment can cause issues. We PAT test all of our equipment prior to sending it out.

What options are there for longer term hire

It might be that you’re running a pop up kitchen or longer term event that means you need to hire kitchen equipment for more than three days. This isn’t an issue; our checkout will automatically adjust pricing when dates are entered to reflect longer term hires. Every additional day above three days costs 20% extra.

If your required hire period is longer than two weeks, then we recommend contacting for a quote from one of our sales team. In these sorts of instances the longer the notice that you can give the better in order to have better availability.

How does delivery of kitchen equipment hire work?

We deliver throughout Bristol and the South West of England including to Bristol, Bath, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and Devon, seven days a week. We can deliver either direct to the venue or to your business address, whichever is easiest for you.

Our drivers work as multiple drop drivers, delivering and collecting many orders per day, which means we have to schedule them as effectively and efficiently as possible. This makes timed deliveries more difficult and as such, they attract a surcharge and are only offered subject to availability.
