Having the right kind of catering equipment is vital if you're cooking outdoors at your event or occasion, and we're here to make it easy for you to find what you need.
The most important thing a customer needs to know is their power requirements. Outdoor cooking equipment often needs a great deal of power, and while electric ovens and cookers do a good job inside, they're not designed to work on either generators or extension leads. We recommend using LPG powered equipment when cooking outside, as LPG offers much more power and is designed to be used outdoors.
However, we do have some outdoor catering hire products that are electrical like our hot dog steamer and popcorn cart. We reccommend checking what power output you have available before hiring as it's possible these can trip a supply that isn't set up to handle it.
All of our equipment is supplied complete with a hose and regulator, meaning they can easily be connected to a standard LPG gas bottle via the bayonet fitting.
We pride ourselves on safety at Expo Hire Bristol and Avon. That's why all of our gas equipment is regularly checked and tested by a Gas Safe engineer.
Evidence of this can be provided (on request) upon confirmation of your order. Please Note: Our delivery team cannot connect or set up equipment for you. If you are not comfortable doing this, we advise that you consult a Gas Safe engineer.
We stock and deliver a wide range of electrical products, and live by the moral that we will only hire out items that are of good quality and in good condition. This is why at Expo Hire Bristol and Avon we clean, inspect and PAT test all electricals prior to delivery, and can even provide evidence of this if required. All of our electrical products are fitted with a 3 pin UK plug, meaning they are widely compatible throughout all major venues. Please Note: We advise that you check the limitations of your power supply prior to use, to ensure it is not overloaded.
