Streetfood

Street food stalls and pop up kitchens often required specialised equipment. We've got the streetfood hire you will need to serve a wide range of tasty and delicious food in Bristol and the South West of England

Our range of streetfood vending equipment has been created to help you set up a pop up kitchen or streetfood stall with ease. We’ve got all kinds of equipment available to help you get going.

What kinds of streetfood hire are there?

We have various kinds of streetfood hire available, to help with most kinds of streetfood stalls and popup events.

Our popcorn machine offers an old-fashioned style with contemporary knowhow, making you popcorn quickly and effectively to serve, while our hot dog steamer is perfect for serving sausages in buns quickly, and our milkshake machine helps make proper ice cream style milkshakes for those hot summer days. For a more continental approach, there are crepe machines for making the perfect pancakes.

For those looking to work with LPG catering equipment hire, we offer paella pan sets which are perfect for serving not only paella but any large stir fried food. Our barbecue pizza oven is perfect for anyone wanting a quick and easy set up to serve pizzas, while our barbecues are industry standard and capable of serving literally hundreds of hungry people.

Do you need to order gas?

All of our LPG equipment is supplied without gas bottles. Please order separately if you need them

  • 13kg LPG Bottles are suitable for patio heaters
  • 19kg LPG Bottles are suitable for all other LPG equipment we stock
  • 30mm wrench required to attach bottles to equipment - can also be hired separately
  • If unsure about connecting bottles to equipment utilise a Gas Safe Engineer

Does streetfood hire need to be cleaned before collection?

Are you worried about cleaning your catering equipment hire after your occasion or event? If time is a factor or you know you’ve got too much else to worry about while packing up, then our "send it back dirty" service is what you need.

We know that catering equipment can be hard to clean after a hire period of full usage – especially things like ovens and barbecues. Rather than breaking out the scourer, for 25% of the hire price you can leave it all to us. Just wipe off any food debris or liquid and we'll do the rest once it has been returned. To take advantage of this service simply select in the checkout.

How does delivery of streetfood hire work?

We stock and deliver a wide range of electrical products, and live by the moral that we will only hire out items that are of good quality and in good condition. This is why at Expo Hire Bristol and Avon we clean, inspect and PAT test all electricals prior to delivery, and can even provide evidence of this if required. All of our electrical products are fitted with a 3 pin UK plug, meaning they are widely compatible throughout all major venues. Please Note: We advise that you check the limitations of your power supply prior to use, to ensure it is not overloaded.

All of our equipment is supplied complete with a hose and regulator, meaning they can easily be connected to a standard LPG gas bottle via the bayonet fitting.

We pride ourselves on safety at Expo Hire Bristol and Avon. That's why all of our gas equipment is regularly checked and tested by a Gas Safe engineer.

Evidence of this can be provided (on request) upon confirmation of your order. Please Note: Our delivery team cannot connect or set up equipment for you. If you are not comfortable doing this, we advise that you consult a Gas Safe engineer.

It’s easier than ever to find out the delivery and collection costs to and from your venue for event hire. Tap the Expo Hire Bristol & Avon logo from any page on the website to be taken to the homepage where you will find our carriage calculator button. Enter your postcode into the clever widget and not only will it tell you what the carriage cost is to that venue but also which of our websites is closest so that you don’t pay any more than you should.

You’ll also find a list of all our possible extra surcharges on that page. If applicable, these are confirmed in the checkout once you have confirmed your delivery address along with dates of delivery and collection. They’re itemised in full before you make payment so that there are no nasty surprises, and you know exactly what you are paying for.
